Description

NutriSTAT EZ Collect is a comprehensive functional nutrition test designed as a convenient, minimally invasive alternative to the NutriSTAT profile. Using a spot urine specimen, it assesses organic acids, amino acids, and nutrient and toxic elements, while a dried blood spot (DBS) is used to assess essential fatty acids. With no venepuncture required, the profile is ideal for patients in remote locations, those with limited access to collection centres, or anyone seeking a simple at-home collection option.

Measuring more than 250 biomarkers in a single report, NutriSTAT EZ Collect gives practitioners a whole-of-system view of nutritional status and metabolic function, including:

  • Organic acids: more than 120 urinary markers covering gut bacterial and yeast/fungal overgrowth (including Clostridial and Aspergillus markers), mitochondrial energy production and the citric acid cycle, fatty acid oxidation, B-vitamin and antioxidant status, neurotransmitter metabolism, the tryptophan–kynurenine pathway, detoxification and glutathione function, oxidative stress, and oxalate metabolism.
  • Environmental and xenobiotic exposures: urinary metabolites of toluene, xylene, benzene, styrene, phthalates, parabens and MTBE.
  • Amino acids: essential, conditionally essential and non-essential amino acids, branched-chain amino acids, urea cycle and one-carbon metabolism intermediates, dietary peptide markers and functional ratios.
  • Nutrient and toxic elements: 18 essential and trace minerals, including magnesium, zinc, copper, selenium and iodine, plus 23 toxic metals, including lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and aluminium.
  • Essential fatty acids: omega-3, omega-6, omega-9, saturated, monounsaturated and trans fatty acids, with the Omega-3 Index, AA/EPA ratio and omega-3/omega-6 ratio.

Results are paired with a personalised Nutrition Guide that translates the full pattern of findings into suggested priority levels and starting doses for vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and probiotics, giving practitioners a practical starting point for targeted treatment plans.

NutriSTAT EZ Collect is well suited to patients presenting with fatigue, mood or cognitive concerns, digestive symptoms, suspected nutrient deficiencies, chemical sensitivity or toxic exposure, as well as those wanting a comprehensive baseline of their nutritional health.
